Thank you all for the kinds thoughts. My daughter suffered a stroke at the age of 26. The doctors went in and removed a large blood clot and have put a catheter in to deliver medicine to a smaller clot to dissolve it. I am thinking healing thoughts for my daughter.
Sending prayers your way.
ReplyDeleteKathleen,
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are with you and your daughter. I am so sorry to hear that. Hopefully she will have a swift and full recovery! I know several people much older than her who were able to live a normal life after a stroke, or a few strokes. So there is certainly hope!

Kelly, thank you so very much.
DeleteThank you all for the well wishes. Allison is doing very well. She is in a regular hospital room and talking and walking (with assistance). I brought her keyboard into the room so she could play some music, and she remember how to play! She has some memory lapses but they say that will improve over time.
